無障牙科日是一個為有特殊需要的人士的牙科需要所設的討論平台，目的是要促進特殊需要人士的牙齒健康。

今屆，主辦機構盈愛．笑容基金及香港無障牙科學訂定智障人士牙齒健康新里程為主題。邀請到食物及衞生局局長陳肇始教授，太平紳士主禮，她先參觀了「盈愛．笑容服務」，瞭解無障牙科服務對智障人士的適切性。

家長在會議中分享到智障子女獲得牙科服務的困難，覺得無障牙科才是他們子女牙科治療的希望。

會議今年請到基督教香港信義會天恩展能服務社工龍薈雯女士報告她在院舍推行的「智齒齊守護」計劃。目的在加強院友的潔齒狀況，促進牙週牙齒健康，鞏固牙科治療的效果，確保智障人士牙齒健康的長遠益處。計劃在過去半年實行試驗，初有成效。

香港無障牙科學會起動一個願景，旨望當智障朋友的牙齒衞生達到一般人水平，就可以植牙來復修他們所缺失的牙齒。學會會長形容現時智障人士的牙齒衛生缺乏正確日常潔齒護理，盼望「智齒齊守護」計劃能扭轉現時情況。
